Hokkaido is the second largest, northernmost and most sparsely populated of the major islands of Japan. Its annual snowfall ranges upwards from 14m and provides some of the best Skiing conditions in the world. I spent a summer working and photographing the area and to be completely honest it’s so rare to find a clear day here as snowfall is so regular, here are a few of my favourites taken amongst all those powder days!
